We’re glad to welcome our new Venture Partner, Abhilash Paul, a global investment professional, whose career spans 15 years, multiple continents, and several landmark transactions.
Raised in New Delhi and educated in Singapore and the US, Abhilash has cultivated a truly global perspective. He traded structured credit at Deutsche Bank in Singapore, helped merge two of Latin America’s largest airlines in Chile, and spent nearly a decade at Citibank in New York, Mexico City, and London. Along the way, he financed a $12 billion airport in Mexico City, supported renewable energy privatization, and structured more than $25 billion in equity and equity-linked deals across the EMEA region.
Most recently, as Director at DAR Global, he guided the company through a London Stock Exchange (LSE) listing in early 2023, building its investor relations and capital markets functions from scratch and navigating a turbulent market with precision.
Abhilash brings Verb Ventures a combination of global reach, sector diversity, and hands-on execution experience. His ability to bridge geographies, industries, and investors will open new doors, connecting visionary founders with the global resources they need to succeed.
