Serving as the Director of Marketing, Planning, and Operations at Farfetch, she has been instrumental in scaling performance in both start up and established environments, as well as building efficient teams and processes. Ya-Lin’s collaborative, authentic approach with senior management in developing and executing strategies has contributed significantly to Farfetch’s achievements. Her candid, focused insights are invaluable in guiding marketplaces at Verb Ventures.

Juan Carlos Morales Cortes is a seasoned expert in private market operations. As part of the senior management team at LGT Capital Partners, a globally recognised private banking and asset management firm, Juan Carlos has amassed a significant amount of experience working within private markets. His previous engagements included working in  venture-backed companies before getting in to asset management with American, and European Capital.  His experience will contribute positively to operational efficiencies and overall business success.

Jonathan Woolley brings his expertise in technology and start-up scaling to our Advisory Board. As the IT Director of Atomico, one of Europe’s leading venture capital firms, he has gained a deep understanding of technology’s role in business growth – helping to scale a technology investment platform to find, invest and execute on the very best companies. His experience working with portfolio companies has honed his skills in identifying and implementing technological solutions that drive success. His technological insights and practical approach are highly valued at Verb Ventures.

Andy Crankshaw is our Advisory Board’s finance, compliance and operations expert. As a Chartered Certified Accountant with an extensive background as a CFO in venture capital and private equity, Andy possesses a comprehensive understanding of financial management and compliance. He is FCA approved and a Compliance Officer and MLRO. Currently the Finance Director at Transcend, a venture capital firm focussed on the gaming space and has held senior positions at Atomico, 3i, and IK Investments. His proficiency extends beyond finance, encompassing operations, compliance and fundraising, making him an essential asset to Verb Ventures.

Tim Morgan brings a wealth of strategic insight to our Advisory Board. With an accomplished background as a founder, investor, and operator, he has developed expertise across various industries, including gaming, media, and fintech. Tim’s career began in M&A. He then founded, built and exited a number of technology businesses. He now leads operations at Teller, a rapidly growing US fintech

Harry Jameson focuses on the critical intersection between health, well-being, and professional performance. As the founder of Pillar Wellbeing and an executive performance coach, he emphasizes the significance of physical and mental health in achieving professional goals. His experience includes working with high-profile clients, including C-suite executives and public figures. At Verb Ventures, Harry provides guidance to ensure that our founders are equipped with the tools necessary for peak performance.

An Icelandic and Irish citizen living in London, Ben is a highly experienced international reputation and communications strategist with extensive experience of developing and implementing integrated reputation management and communications strategies.

As Managing Partner, Partner, Director and Senior Consultant with Reputation Inc, Ben has worked extensively with private equity and venture capital companies and along the way supported numerous start-ups and expanding businesses to build reputation, manage risk and tell their story locally and globally.

Christos Malikkidis is our Venture Partner who brings a wealth of legal and business expertise. Christos holds an LLB in English Law and an LLM in EU Law from prestigious universities in the United Kingdom and Belgium. Christos is a qualified lawyer and his expertise spans from Investment Structuring & Fund Advisory, to Tax, IP & Technology, Commercial and Corporate Law. His proficiency extends beyond the legal field, encompassing business development, operations and fundraising, making him an essential asset to Verb Ventures.

Dennis Tuominen is our Venture Partner, equipped with extensive international experience and multilingual proficiency. Dennis has participated in organizing Slush and served as a product manager at an Israeli family office. He is currently completing an MBA from Helsinki and Vaasa, Finland, and a SiMBA from Guangzhou, China. Dennis is a NOVA Talent Sweden ambassador, fluent in Swedish, German, Finnish, and English, with beginner proficiency in Chinese. Representing Verb Ventures in Finland and the Nordic region, Dennis is an invaluable asset to our team, and his exceptional networking skills enable us to foster strong cultural connections with founders and investors.

Andrew Gorobchenko is our Venture Partner, a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record from founding to exiting a venue booking marketplace. With a master’s in management from ESCP Europe in Paris, Andrew has a deep passion for tech, platforms, analytics, and business intelligence, aligning with his personal interests and family business background in the agritech segment. He is also the founder of a product studio that developed B2B platforms and marketplaces for clients like Huawei and the German Federal Ministry for Cooperation and Development. Andrew is a vital asset to our team, bringing a unique blend of finance, product, and entrepreneurial experience.

Nani Nitinavakorn is our Venture Partner – a product guru, angel investor and advisor. She served as the Chief Product Officer (now, advisor) at Atom Learning, a pioneering Softbank-backed EdTech company. Nani also has an impressive track record with leading fintechs and fast-growing startups – Revolut, Grab and Agoda, which has allowed her to gather a wealth of knowledge and insights about scaling product-led tech businesses across various industries. Her extensive background in driving product innovation and her deep understanding of the intersection between technology and user engagement make her an invaluable asset for the founders in our portfolio, who are navigating the complexities of startup growth and scale.
